Just a small chart on how Gargoyles show what they're feeling.
If you can't see the eyes, you'll know by ears or perhaps a hint of glow coming out of their blindfolds. Though if you actually enter the colony cathedral, it's dark so you can see their eyes.
But in Margos case you can only see his eyes when it's night so he can see. Or if a darkened room. Since gargoyles hate the sun and freeze up to statues until the sun sets.
The eyes change color due to all the hidden light and fluid in it's eyes. They change color as a social act.
What? They can't blush since they're stone and can't show their blood or heat up. They need a way with body language to show what's going on! XD
And about the sensitive area's usually these are often locations like behind the ears, wings and neck. But in other cases you can find them in other areas. Perhaps even on the stomach if it's that sensitive but due to the tough hide. This is highly unlikely. However if a gargoyle gets wet from the rain or falling in a lake. The water makes the skin more smooth which means the sensitivity will grow. This is mainly why gargoyles actually like the rain, it's just soothing little drops. Though they do hate being plunged into deep waters. With being heavy and being able to sink after then anyone else.
YAY FOR EXPLANATION.
And the cheeky little elf messing with Margo is Galloway XD
